Searching for a magical place to stay, look no further than Dugi Otok! North Dalmatia’s longest and one of its most beautiful islands. The island is well connected with the city of Zadar, as ferries and other liners sail out several times per day. The one and a half hour long boat ride provides passengers with amazing sights of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding islands.
Your vacation house Mirta is located in a peaceful village of Veli Rat. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, it provides you a total rest in a relaxing ambiance. The spacious living/dining room has direct access to the beautiful covered terrace which overlooks the sea. Within 50 meters you will find a grocery store, a restaurant and a charming Marina.
Only 2 km from your vacation house you can enjoy one of Croatia's most beautiful sandy beaches called Saharun. It is 800 meters long, shallow at most of its parts and ideal for children. Also, very close (2 km) there is a famous lighthouse of Veli Rat, the tallest on both coasts of the entire Adriatic Sea. There is also a beach and a restaurant next to the lighthouse. The itself island is ideal for biking and trekking. For those who want to explore rich and mysterious depths of the sea, there are several scuba diving schools open in the summer.

Lovely place to stay for your holiday. Went by plane to Zadar, with rent a car we took the ferry. From there your holiday starts for real! Take at least a week to get used to the 'way of life' on this magical Island.
